Grids of cards are one of the most common layouts on websites today. But as your layouts shrink down to fit mobile screens, you typically end up making cards 100% width.

That works fine, but it makes your page extremely long, causing the user to have to scroll up and down for what feels like miles. One way to avoid this is to add horizontal scrolling. Thanks to Netflix, users are already used to the experience of scrolling across cards in a side-to-side motion.
