Fathom Analytics Event Tracking

Fathom Analytics is a privacy-focused analytics solution that I’ve been using on all my sites (and my clients’ sites) since I interviewed their founders back in February 2022 (link below).

But I’ve been lazy about setting up all my events — perhaps just a little intimidated by the code that needed to be added and configured to get it working.

But after recently giving it a go, I realize it couldn’t be easier!

In this video, I’m going to share 3 different ways you can fire off events, including; button click, page load, and form submission. I’ll do this using my preferred setup, GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks, but these principles will translate to whatever you use to build out your WordPress websites.

Setting up these events only takes a couple of minutes and can provide you with some great data for your efforts!
