Clarity helps you finish

The internet is noisy. Everywhere you look, there’s someone sharing their latest strategy, posting screenshots of their revenue, or telling you they’ve cracked the code.

It’s easy to get FOMO — so you click, you bookmark, you decide “I’m going all in”.

But what happens the next day when you open your browser? A new strategy, a better result, a new cheat code.

Before long, you’ve got 9 unfinished offers (one of them on your list twice because you forgot you already started down that rabbit hole) and, even though you’ve spent hours, they’re getting you nowhere.

Ask me how I know 😅

I keep a little log of thoughts and ideas I have, and I wrote this one down the other day after talking with a friend who was on another one of these pursuits:

“If you don’t know what you want, you’re just going to try and do what everyone else is doing. But if you know what you want, what everyone else is doing doesn’t matter”.

If you don’t have a clear vision for your agency — dreams and goals that align with your strengths — everything looks like a good idea… Even when it’s totally wrong for you.

You say yes to clients that don’t fit. You build offers that don’t align. You burn hours learning tools that don’t solve the problem.

But when you do know what you want, you instinctively know which customers you want to serve, the kind of work you want to offer, and which direction to go when life presents its next fork in the road.

Decisions get easier, distractions get quieter, and you stop comparing yourself to people running an entirely different race.

Those posts that used to send you spiraling into a huge pivot — now you just say “good for them, not for me”.

Clarity doesn’t just help you focus, it helps you finish.

If you’ve been bouncing between ideas, struggling to follow through, or feeling like you’re always trying to catch up, maybe the right question isn’t “What should I do next?”, it’s “What do I actually want?”

Can you answer that question with conviction?
