Deceptively Challenging Layouts

One of my favorite things to do is to find cool designs and/or layouts on the web and try to recreate them with my preferred stack (GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks).

I find this exercise to be one of the most beneficial ways to not only understand how these things work but truly learn how to do them (when compared to just seeing it and imagining how you could build it out).

In this video, I tackle two layouts that have always given me trouble in the past. They don’t look difficult, but both of them require a couple of little tricks to make them work correctly.
